Ann: Dr. Vercil Senseman and I opened North Shore Animal Hospital on March 3, 1963. In addition to doing the bookkeeping for the hospital, I raised five children, graduated from Edison College School of Nursing, and worked at the "people" hospital for 15 years. North Shore is still an important part of my life, and the care of your pets is our main concern.

Teresa: I started being around the Veterinary field when I was still in diapers.  My Dad, the late Dr. Vercil Senseman used to take me on house calls when I was just a baby.  I have worked at North Shore since I was a child.  I am a certified Vet Tech and graduate from St. Petersburg College.  As part owner of North Shore patient care and client education are very important to me.  I have 4 dogs, Jewels, Lieu, Bella and Rosie and 2 cats, Lady gaga and kitty Elsa and a miniature pig named Peppa Pig. I have 2 children, Matt and Madison.  

Alicia: I have worked at North Shore for the past 5 years. I worked as an Intern as part of  the veterinary assistant program at Mariner High School for several months before I graduated as a CVA. I now enjoy working as a receptionist and greeting all the animals when they come in for their visits. I have 2 cats Mittens, and Jasper and I have 2 dogs Grace and Harlee.

Misty: I have worked with animals for over 19 years.  I started out as a kennel tech for a local animal shelter and now work as a vet tech for North Shore Animal Hospital and LOVE IT!   I have two sons, Patrick age 19 and Mason age 5!  My entire gang (including myself) was born and raised in the Fort Myers area.  I have 2 dogs Jax and Wendy, one cat Gemma, Tara the ferret, and a guinea pig named Bella.

Nancy: Growing up I had always wanted to work with animals.  Thanks to Dr. Vercil Senseman he gave me the chance without any experience over 30 years ago!  In my free time, I enjoy playing cards and floating in my pool.

Heaven: I have always wanted to work with animals and at North Shore I get the chance to!  I was born in Tampa, Florida and moved to Fort Myers 5 years ago.  I have two babies of my own, August and Mia!  I went to school for medical assistant but turns out working with animals is so much better! I love what I do!
